140409 ShakeIt Lite
ShakeIt is my first iPhone App which should hopefully be released this week. It emulates instant film cameras. Named ShakeIt partly because you can shake the phone to aid photo development. Kevin has helped out with ideas and has created most of the graphics for the site. This is the Lite version. I’m working on a full and paid version of the App. Should be cool. I’m bias but I think its way better than the three existing polaroid apps. |

Would You is an iPhone App I’ve been working on. It’s a bit of a nothing app, but has a fun design. It can be a fun app to use so long as its used in an appropriate context – IE friends discussing the odd scenarios it pumps out. Hopefully Apple approve it and release it this week on the store. |

Combining the arts of design and coding, French creative studio Trafik designs dynamic visual art and interactive environments then builds the custom applications necessary to realize them. In creating exhibitions, scenography, and other multimedia projects for institutional, cultural and industrial clients, Trafik’s five graphic artists and one programmer push their Macs to the limit, using special applications created in Xcode in combination with other creative applications as primary design tools. Although their work runs the spectrum from classic graphic design to new media, they have received special attention for their signature interactive work. For their Sonic Cube, a large illuminated canvas box shown recently at the contemporary art center, La Ferme du Buisson in Paris, they developed an interactive application that reacts to sound. In this and other projects, Trafik’s designers and coders have uniquely established themselves as “artists of programming.” |

Name Tronic Studio Remixing Reality Tronic is a NYC-based multimedia studio founded by Columbia Architecture graduates Jesse Seppi and Vivian Rosenthal. Their work moves between film, animation, architecture, and experiential design. They’ve delivered unique digital visions for both RES and Creative Review; directed spots for Nike, GE, and Adidas; conceived and executed installations for Diesel, Sharp, and Wired; and, in general, have worked to eliminate lines delineating one form of creative media output from another. These visual futurists are boldly combining architecture, graphic design, film, and animation through new uses of technology to create striking and conceptually based work. |
