250206 Camp AAA
Camp with the asian archi association.
Beautiful little camp ground in the BOI. Camped about 10cm above the sea at high tide, less than 2 meters back from it. Shealtered by 2 small pohutukawa trees. A little restrictive in terms of site area and proximity to other campers (and germans) who go to bed at 10pm (i have no idea why they would go to bed then, weird … ).
Made day trips to Pihia, and the Islands, where the girls sunbathed, the guys swam and threw balls, wakeboarded, swam, ate, snorkled, fished (infamous night fishing with glowing pee and sharks), kneeboarded, general boating. Ran out of time with most things.
The last night and day was at Ureatiti (sp). I don’t think of tussock covered wth sand and gorse is exactly nice but the beach was nice. Sand, water and sky. If you can surf it probably sucks, but i cant, so the waves were awesome. Ureatiti provided a less restrained night (other than the old guy with sensative ears)
If kevin actually took as many photos of me wakeboarding as he did of gabs im sure one of them would have come out a little like this.
